Welcome to my website! My name is Rachelle Strawther and I
moved to Kisumu, Kenya, from Bellingham, WA. in September of
2005. This website is devoted to the people that have come
into my life since that life change, and projects that I have
worked on with the Kiwanis Club of Kisumu, Kenya.

Alacer Corporation - makers of Emergen'C
A very special thank you to Alacer Corporation for their second round of donations! Alacer has once again contributed
approximately 1500 packets of Emergen'C vitamin supplement to benefit our Kisumu children. With so many children
suffering from malaria, HIV/AIDS, TB, and other common diseases, this immune-boosting drink mix is tremendously
beneficial. If you have not yet tried this amazing product, I highly recommend it!
Additionally, my heartfelt thanks to the many individual donors and families who have contributed to our Kiwanis projects
and my personal endeavors in Kisumu!

Many thanks to Starkey Hearing Foundation for providing Zawadi with free hearing aids! SHF visited
Kenya in September and donated hearing aids to thousands of hearing impaired children. There were
about 20 volunteers who came from the States and ran the medical camps. What an amazing group of
people and an inspirational organization!
